We usually organise four fishing competitions each year, two boat fishing and two bank fishing.
Venues recently used include the reservoirs at Blagdon, Chew Valley, Hawkridge, Clatworthy and Sutton Bingham .
These are friendly events, the competition is not too fierce! Prizes and an annual shield are awarded, and winners join the Roll of Honour!
Social fishing evenings are being organised through the Summer, no competition, just an opportunity to meet together and enjoy fishing.

A number of social events take place each year at which partners are welcome.
There is an annual Christmas Dinner held at a nearby pub or restaurant.
The first and last meetings of each season are usually a buffet with skittles or bar skittles.
Partners are welcome at fishing events, cookery demonstrations and other special events.
